K-mart...the furniture mecca. I think I have a new favorite store. Recently, I discovered that K-mart has prices similar to Walmart and the furniture- booh-yah! Our experience buying furniture there was MUCH better than at AFW. (scroll down 2 posts or so) I bought a dining set at K-mart and the sales associate rolled it to the cashier for us, rolled it out to the car for us, and single-handedly lifted it into the car while Haley and I stood by watching (myself holding Carmel, who was very confused by the whole situation!) Now this, folks, is customer service! The guy didn't even make me drive the car to the curb! And so, I think that K-mart is beginning to win over my heart as a single young woman. ; )
